Monocre solvent traps have a single core, and most have a hole that runs the entire length of the baffle. Because of their single construction, they are very stable and less prone to damage. Because the end caps are still sealed, they are allowed to have a single core until they receive Form 1 approval. The monocore solvent trap is made of GR5-grade titanium, which is highly durable and corrosion resistant, and lighter than stainless steel.
